A lot of five Moro spears, budiak
southern Philippines, late 19th/early 20th century

Comprising: 1) 11 inch leaf-shaped blade with molded neck; heavy 69 inch haft possible replaced. 2) 7 inch leaf-shaped blade with 3 inch molded neck; 81 inch haft probably original with part of twine ferrule and flared foot. 3) 10 1/2 inch blade of similar form; 5 1/2 inch banded brass ferrule; 76 inch haft possibly original. 4) 13 inch head of similar form; simple brass ferrule; 91 inch hardwood haft. 5) 15 inch blade of similar form; brass ferrule; 91 inch hardwood haft.
Condition: Metal showing dark patina; wood generally very sound, 2) with crack below head, the foot chipped.
