A lot of four Moro spears, budiak
southern Philippines, late 19th/early 20th century

Comprising: 1) 18 inch head molded with multiple fullers and banded neck above plaited rattan and 10 inch banded brass ferrules; mounted on what appears to be original 74 inch haft. 2) 14 inch flamberge blade with two broad fullers above the fluted and banded neck; simple iron ferrule; 87 inch replaced haft. 3) 13 inch head molded with shallow double fullers; original 66 inch haft with 10 inch banded brass ferrule, the lower end with bone final. 4) 16 inch leaf-shaped blade molded with two fullers above a banded neck; replaced 92 inch haft.
Condition: Metal showing dark patina and areas of light pitting, 1) with old lacquered coating.
