A lot of three Moro keris
southern Philippines, late 19th/early 20th century

Comprising: 1) Slightly undulating 19 1/2 inch blade, separate guard with single steel stirrup; grip retaining portions of twine wrapping; grooved hemi-spherical wooden pommel set with a Spanish silver coin; associated darkened wood scabbard. 2) Slightly undulating 22 1/2 inch blade, separated guard with two steel stirrups; German silver ferrule; banded grip covering of plaited, pitch-infused twine; flat wooden pommel. 3) Straight 22 1/2 inch blade with separately wrought guard, lower section of blade pierced with four holes and showing outline of missing overlay; brass ferrule; grip wrapped in single strand of plaited rattan; burlwood cockatoo pommel.
Condition: Blades with mottled patina showing areas of light pitting, 1) tip heavily rusted. 2) Grip wrapping frayed. 3) Grip wrapping with break.
