A lot of three Moro keris
southern Philippines, late 19th/early 20th century

Comprising: 1) Example with 19 3/4 inch twelve curve blade, the separately wrought guard with two silver stirrups; silver ferrules; grip bound with twisted twine; burlwood cockatoo pommel. 2) Straight 23 inch blade, separate guard with single steel stirrup; grip with three iron bands alternating with two bands of plaited rattan; wooden pommel of flattened hemi-spherical form. 3) 19 1/2 inch twelve curve blade, separate guard with one iron stirrup and one of plaited brass wire, the ends extending into the elaborate pitch-covered twine grip-binding; stepped hemispherical wooden pommel.
Condition: Blades showing areas of light pitting. 1) Hilt fine, pommel with one crack. 2) and 3) Sound hilt with dark patina.
