A lot of three Moro keris
southern Philippines, late 19th/early 20th century

Comprising: 1) Example with straight 20 inch blade, the base and separately wrought guard with pierced and scrolled decoration; single iron stirrup of unusual form, the ends extending nearly to the pommel and covered with the elaborately twine hilt wrapping; silver ferrule; burlwood pommel of bird's head form. 2) Slightly undulating 21 1/2 inch blade with separated guard and single iron stirrup; grip wrap of plaited, resin-soaked twine; simple wooden pommel. 3) Straight 23 inch blade with integral guard and single engraved, silver-plated stirrup; grip wrap of plaited rattan; flat-topped wooden pommel with banded sides.
Condition: Blades with mottled patina showing patches of spotting/light pitting. 1), 3) Hilt fine. 2) Hilt showing wear and probably missing the upper ferrule.
