A lot of three Moro keris
southern Philippines, late 19th/early 20th century

Comprising: 1) 23 inch ten curve blade with separate guard and single engraved silver stirrup; grip with multi-element twine binding and stepped wooden pommel; wooden scabbard with part of rattan wrapping remaining, the throat fastened set brass tacks. 2) 23 1/2 inch ten curve blade, the undulations of restrained form, separate guard with silver-plated copper stirrup; wooden grip with silver-plated copper ferrules and stepped pommel; wooden scabbard fastened by pins. 3) Straight 22 inch blade with separate guard and two silver-plated copper stirrups; engraved silver-plated copper ferrules; twine grip binding; burlwood cockatoo pommel.
Condition: All blades showing areas of spotting/pitting. 1) Grip binding with pitch repair at pommel, scabbard with replaced sliver. 3) Pommel with age cracks.
