A group of reproduction gauntlets
19th and early 20th century

Including a well-made pair in late 15th century German Gothic style and probably of 19th century manufacture; a pair of undecorated gauntlets in the style of the late 14th century; one pair and two single cuffed gauntlets in 16th century style. Also including an old fencing glove, the interior lined in mail.
Condition: All showing areas of pitting and dark spotting, the first missing most of the finger defenses as are the examples in 16th century style.
