Manuscript Document Signed ("G Destrees"), 4 pp recto and verso, folio (conjoining leaves), n.p., c. 1590, tipped to mat, small repaired tear, short fold separation, very good.

Gabrielle D'Estrées was the mistress of Henri IV, King of France. This lengthy manuscript enters into some detail concerning the intrigues of the Catholic League and refers to Henri's wife, Marguerite de Valois, in bitter terms.
