CHARLES II, KING OF ENGLAND. 1630-1685.

1. Manuscript Document Signed ("Charles R"), 1 p, folio (conjoining blank), Castle Elizabeth, Jersey, October 26, 1649, entreating for a loan of 50 pounds and granting future privilege, browned, large ink burn hole to blank leaf and a few smaller marginal holes.
Charles II gathers support and funds in the middle of the English Civil War, a few months after his father's execution.
2. Gwyn, Eleanor ("Nell"). Manuscript Document Signed ("EG"), 1 p, folio (conjoining blank), n.p., August, 1684, a receipt for a quarterly payment of 500 pounds for the maintenance of herself and her son, her eldest bastard by Charles II.
