RILKE, RAINER MARIA.

Autograph Letter Signed (“R.M. Rilke”), in German, 1 p, 8vo, n.p., n.d., to Herr Mautner, on light gray stationery, leaf creased horizontally, mildly toned with some thumbing and wear, upper and lower left corners creased, with integral blank leaf.

Rilke writes this letter to an acquaintance asking if he can reschedule his upcoming visit for the daytime rather than the evening, because he does not like to travel at night and is useless after a certain hour.
