The Rambler. London: for J. Payne [and J. Bouquet], 1750-1752 [title-pages dated 1753]. 2 volumes. [10], 622; [10], [623]-1244 pp. Folio (300 x 177 mm). Period half tan calf over marbled boards, gilt-lettered black leather spine labels. Paste action affecting margins of preliminary and final leaves, otherwise generally internally clean, covers partially detached, spines worn.

Early collected folio edition from the original numbers. Although No 1 is second edition, the rest of the numbers appear to be the first. Courtney & Nicol Smith, pp 30-31.
