Original lavender cloth lettered in gilt and decorated in gilt and in blind, a.e.g. Some scattered spots, occasional brief dampstain, hinges cracked, cloth faded to brown, corners rubbed, spine toned and with some repair.

First edition, first issue with "lifed" reading in line 3 of page 21. BAL 7606.
