First edition. McCulloch was considered the leader of the Ricardian school of economics after the death of Ricardo in 1823. BMC 16.280.183.
Provenance: Ownership signature of John Rutherfurd, New Jersey Federalist senator, and later responsible for laying out the plans for the Manhattan street grid north of 14th Street.
