Cadell, 1767. 2 volumes. xv (but 13), [1], [12], 639; [16], 646, [13] pp. 2 folding tables. 4to (288 x 222 mm). Modern full tan calf, period gilt-lettered and decorated spines laid down. Some occasional toning, but generally internally clean, lacks half-titles, period ownership signature to front flyleaf of first volume, bindings with light shelfwear, joints rubbed.

First edition of the most complete and systematic survey of economics from the point of view of moderate mercantilism and can be considered a culmination of economic thought before Adam Smith. BMC 24.236.843.
