Skizzen aus dem Volksleben in Ungarn. Pesth: Hermann Geibel, 1855. Half-title. vi, [2], 106, [2] pp. With 25 color lithographed plates (hand-colored and chromolithographed), tissue guards. Folio (409 x 282 mm). Original red cloth pictorially stamped in gilt, all edges gilt. Scattered few very minor stains, hinges cracked, rebacked with most of original spine laid down, a little staining to covers and board edges showing.

First edition of this important and rather rare work, depicting the peoples and costume of Hungary. Colas 2430; Lipperheide 896.
