A Papermaking Pilgrimage to Japan, Korea and China. New York: Pynson Printers, 1936. Illustrated with photogravure plates. 50 paper specimens bound in. Printed on Japanese mulberry-bark handmade paper. 4to. Original quarter morocco and decorated boards, spine stamped in gilt and red; board slipcase. Volume fine, one specimen leaf foxed; slipcase with 4 inch split on lower edge and some wear to edges.

Limited edition, no 238 of 370 copies, signed by the author and the publisher (Elmer Adler). Dard Hunter was one of the first foreigners to visit the paper mills of the East.
