Illustrated with 106 (of 107) engraved plates (a few of which are folding) including engraved title-pages and dedications to each section. Oblong 4to (270 x 394 mm). Early calf, red morocco spine label. Scattered soils and stains (mostly marginal), including pale corner dampstain, heavier at ends, lacking plate 7 from the second part, few plates creased near end, binding rubbed, lacking free endpapers, wear to spine and corners.
