Extra-illustrated with plates in two states and additional title-page, list of illustrations, over 100 original signed pen and ink and watercolors by Clayton Clark (“Kyd”). 8vo. Full red polished calf by Zaehnsdorf, spines lettered and decorated in gilt, t.e.g. Chips to fore-edge margin of some leaves second volume, second part, generally internally clean, some joints and spines expertly repaired, light shelfwear, chips to head of spine of second volume, second part, an attractive set.

Extra-illustrated with Autograph Letter Signed integrally (“Mr. Charles Dickens”), 2 pp, 8vo, n.p., December 24, 1847, making hotel arrangements for himself and his wife; and with Autograph Letter Signed (“Clayton Clark (Kyd)”), 2 pp, 8vo, n.p., June 9, 1888, regarding illustrations for the Pickwick Papers.
