Illustrated with frontispieces, 3 folding maps in rear endpaper pockets, and numerous plates and illustrations in the text. 8vo. Original green cloth decorated and lettered in gilt, upper covers with blind and black-stamped Africa design. Loose maps with some light wear, smaller one with closed tear, cloth with light shelfwear, an excellent copy overall.

First American edition.
