Illustrated with 60 engraved plates and views; and 43 engraved maps by Herman Moll, mostly folding. 4to (257 x 200 mm). Period speckled calf, gilt-ruled, morocco lettering-pieces. Marginal chip from B4 (vol 1) with loss of a couple of words, repaired tears to 3 maps, closed tear to 3N1 (vol 1), rebacked with original spines laid down and old endpapers preserved, some repair to corners; overall a very fresh, attractive copy.

Second edition. The maps, views, plans, portraits and other engravings all collate complete according to the binder's instructions bound into each volume.
