A New & Correct Map of the Whole World…. London: Printed for J. & T. Bowles, 1719. Copper-engraved wall map hand-colored in outline, cartouche hand-colored, 704 x 1127 mm, 4 sheets joined together. Inset maps of the North Pole and showing magnetic variation. Tissue-backed repairing a few small holes at joins (in oceans), modest even toning.

Large, attractive world map. Large swathes of North America marked “Parts Unknown,” California depicted as an island, and the coastline of New Holland left incomplete.
