Map of the State of Missouri and the Territory of Arkansas. Philadelphia: Mitchell, 1833. Engraved map on paper, 450 x 555 mm, early hand-coloring, folded to 12mo and housed in original full crimson sheep folder lettered and decorated in gilt, 1831 printed census of Missouri and Arkansas Territory to front pastedown, Mitchell label to rear pastedown. Map with separation at several folds, some rubbing and stray marks to covers, but an attractive example overall.

Provenance: Early ownership signature of H.W. Beecher to front pastedown.
