Illustrated with frontispiece of original artwork in each volume and illustrations throughout including mounted colored photographs. Folio (396 x 296 mm). Original decorated silk, tassels to spine. Generally internally clean, some covers with dampstains, some occasional rubbing, a few tassels absent.

Edition de Grand Luxe, no 41 of 50 sets. Original artwork includes original paintings by Beishu, Nanpo, Suika, and Tanikawa, silk embroidery by Nishimura, original woodblock prints, an cut velvet painting by Giokushu, and an original paper stencil.
