A small white stuffed animal in the form of an elephant signed on its right ear in black ballpoint ink by the King. 'Julie' obtained this signature in person when she saw Elvis in concert at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel in 1970 and relays the following story about it: Presley had a box of teddy bears onstage that his buddy, Charlie Hodge, would hand to him so he could then throw them out to female audience members. When Charlie got to the bottom of the box, he handed Elvis this elephant who then mentioned that it was "not a teddy bear." Nonetheless, Elvis tossed the non-teddy bear to 'Julie' as she was sitting in the front row; she thought quickly, grabbed a pen from her handbag, and asked Elvis to sign the elephant, which he did. Also included is a color snapshot taken right after the concert, showing 'Julie' cradling the elephant. (Please note the stuffed animal is now somewhat yellowed due to age, but the signature is not affected.)
