A binder filled with approximately 100 receipts from both the star's personal and professional life. Dated from around 1954 to 1962 (during the height of her television career), almost all of the receipts note her name (or her husband's, Desi Arnaz) and her various addresses in Beverly Hills, New York City, Hollywood, or Palm Springs, and are from places such as Schwab's Pharmacy, Bonwit Teller, The Broadway, Robinson's, Vicente Camera, Pioneer Hardware, Gordon's Satyr Book Shop, Motion Picture Center Studios, Variety Magazine, New Star Market, Beverly Hills Laundry, and countless other businesses that Ball and Arnaz frequented. Also included are a number of 'Withholding Tax Statements' for employees of DesiLu Studios. This fantastic collection offers a detailed look at the private life of the very public couple -- showing what they bought, ate, and did during their heyday when they were still married and seemingly happy.
