From the estate sale that took place from November 26 to November 29, 1945 in Beverly Hills, nineteen years after the screen legend died prematurely; 48 pages with a number of black and white images of the lots being sold which included the furniture, decorative arts, and artwork from the actor's Beverly Hills house that he famously named 'Falcon Lair.' Evidently these items were not part of the first auction that took place right after Valentino's death in 1926 [see Lot 3039]. A number of penciled annotations by the original owner who attended the auction are evident on a few pages, including some of the prices realized.
