A Marilyn Monroe rare black and white publicity photograph, 1948, 1952

A vintage print with a glossy finish depicting the then-starlet wearing a Native American-inspired ensemble as she sits on a block of ice; verso has a black ink stamp noting in part "Copyright 1952 / Columbia Pictures Corp." Though the photograph was taken when MM worked at that studio in 1948 for their film, "Ladies of the Chorus," it was date-stamped (or printed) four years later, probably to cash in on her burgeoning fame.
