A two-page typed list dated "2/13/51" with the title "Analysis of Loan Account" prepared by a 'Lou Goldberg' at the William Morris Agency for MM's accountant. Outlining the not insubstantial loans the actress took out at her talent agency when she was a struggling twenty-four year old in 1950, some of her expenses included "Traffic violations $10.00 / Beverly Motors - Purchase of 1950 Pontiac $2,529.69 / Marcy Gym Co. Exercise equip. $64.03 / Rental 1947 Chevrolet Sedan 5/12/50 - 7/6/50 $20.35," among other necessities. Also included is an attached goldenrod 'inter-office correspondence' memo from Goldberg to a 'Bill Freedman' reading in part "It would be advisable to you to discuss this account with me before you prepare the tax return. Please be sure to have Miss Monroe come in and see you" -- not a bad part of Mr. Freedman's job duties!
