A good pair of Victorian sailor's mahogany-cased shell Valentine pictures

West Indies, probably Barbados
The single case of hinged octagonal diptych form , the left face with motto "HOME SWEET HOME" within multiple segmented borders, the right face centred by a heart and flower within similar borders, within sectional mahogany surround and backing, the whole in good condition 46cm wide (open) x 23cm high
