A brass-cased bull's eye timepiece with stand

The former near-spherical, the rear flattened for ease of viewing, having a 3-inch white-enamelled dial (haircrack) with subsidiary seconds dial beneath winder and suspension loop, the half-plate lever movement with five-spoke wheelwork, 8cm diameter, together with a cast brass and green onyx table-stand, modelled as the head of a lion, raised upon four supports and a spreading green onyx stem, descending to a bow-breakfront base 23.5cm high (2)
