An adapted 17th Century and later brass lantern clock

Now with twin-fusee movement
Having a 6.5-inch Roman chapter ring with stylised fleur-de-lis half-hour divisions and an inner band of single-hand quarter-hour divisions framing foliate engraving, the movement later-converted to chain-driven twin-fusee with anchor escapement and four-spoke wheelwork, the case having an urn finial surmounting a bell with cruciform strap support over urn corner finials and shaped pierced fretwork cresting, to the front engraved with sea creatures and foliage, the turned corner columns raised on ball feet 38.5cm high (sold with pendulum)
