Having a 13-inch broken-arched dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes framing a subsidiary seconds dial, foliate engraving and inscription "Charles Campbell/BO=NESS", flanking terrestrial calendar aperture, within foliate scroll-engraved spandrels, the arch having a circular aperture with painted pivoting ship flying the Red Ensign, between further scrollwork, the movement rack-striking on a bell, the associated case having a swan-necked pediment over turned columns with brass capitals, the serpentine-arched long trunk door between canted corners on a plain base and plinth 216cm high (sold with two weights plus pendulum)
