Having a 13-inch broken-arched Roman dial with silvered subsidiary seconds dial over terrestrial calendar dial, flanking banner inscribed "ROB'T CRINGAN CARLUKE", the spandrels painted with figures emblematic of the Four Seasons, the arch painted with an interior scene entitled "COTTARS SATURDAY NIGHT", after Burns, the case having a swan-necked pediment over turned columns, the trunk with cushion moulded frieze over ogee-arched door surmount and convex long door between sunken columns on a fielded panelled base, the shaped apron with integral bracket feet 216cm high
