Having a 13-inch square dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes framing a subsidiary seconds dial and terrestrial calendar crescent over inscribed maker's name between painted tulips, the spandrels painted with budding roses, the movement, with false-plate cast WILSON, rack-striking on a bell, the associated contemporary case having a swan-neck pediment with brass and ceramic disc terminals flanking a brass ball finial, over fluted columns with brass capitals flanking an inlaid door, the trunk with chevron-inlaid frieze over an ogee-arched crossbanded long door between reeded corner pilasters, the panelled canted base on later plinth 215cm high (sold with two weights, pendulum, two keys and winder)
