Having a 13-inch broken-arched dial, the silvered chapter ring with Roman hours and Arabic minutes framing a foliate-engraved centre with silvered subsidiary seconds dial over terrestrial calendar square, within mask-centred spandrels, the arch with silvered strip engraved "IAMES BARTON ECCLESTON", framing moon phase with silvered lunar calendar scale over foliate engraved hemispheres, the movement rack-striking on a bell, the case having a broken-arched cornice over turned columns, the ogee-arched and crossbanded butterfly-veneered long door on a crossbanded base and a plain apron with bracket feet 228cm high
