Having a 13-inch broken-arched dial, the chapter ring, with Roman hours, Arabic minutes and foliate half-hour divisions, engraved "Tho: Clare Warrington", framing a matted centre with subsidiary seconds dial between relief-cast cherubs riding eagles, over terrestrial calendar aperture within engraved foliate scrollwork, all within deeply-cast mask-centred spandrels, the arch with engraved foliate scrollwork outer border framing a painted rolling moon with silvered scale, painted coastal scene and starry landscape, over engraved hemispheres, the movement rack-striking on a bell, the fine case (associated) with central ball-and-eagle finial, swan-neck pediment, and ball-and-spire corner finials, over a simulated verre eglomise frieze, stop-fluted Corinthian columns and chequer-strung hood door, the trunk with dentil moulding and trefoil-arcaded bracket supports over a serpentine-arched, crossbanded and chequer-strung long trunk door centred by a bat's wing medallion within oval border, the stop-fluted canted corners headed by gilt masks and ribbon pendants, the crossbanded canted base on truncated bracket feet 237cm high (sold with pendulum)
