Having a 10-inch broken-arched dial, the silvered chapter ring with Roman hours and Arabic minutes framing a lobed Dutch minute band with stylised acorn dividers, framing a finely-engraved centre inscribed "Joseph Sill/WIGTON", with rococo foliate decoration between drapes, over terrestrial calendar square within urn-centred spandrels, the arch with foliate-engraved border framing moon phase with silvered lunar calendar scale over foliate engraved hemispheres, the movement rack-striking on a bell, the unusual case with swan-neck pediment, ball-and-spire finial and gilt rosettes over hood door between Corinthian columns, the trunk with slender long door between fluted pilasters over projecting pillars and breakfront mouldings, the base on ogee bracket feet 208cm high (sold with two weights , pendulum and key)
