A Derby figure group of 'Music'

Late 18th Century
Modelled with a young woman in flowing robes, holding a flute in her hands, she stands beside a column on which a tambourine and sheet of music rest, to her feet a putto holds a violin in one hand, a sheet of music in the other, all on a grassy base applied with flowers and two further instruments, 25cm high, incised N.217 to base (significant restoration), together with a Derby figure group of a young maiden with a winged putti, standing before flowering bocage, 19.5cm high (also restored).
