A Victorian silver centrepiece,

by W. & J. Barnard, London 1880, also marked with an Irish import mark for Dublin 1929,
Shaped oval form, with a leaf mounted baluster stem, with double scroll supports, stylised borders, each end mounted with a maiden holding a shell, central engraved cut glass bowl, and with a scroll mounted vase support and tapering vase, the whole on a later shaped wooden base, height 56.5cm, length 41cm, weight 84oz.
