Both transfer printed in brownish black with 'Ruins' subjects picked out in enamel colours and gilding, the saucer depicting a large ruined arch, two men with a dog by a stream and an urn in the foreground, two similar scenes to the cup. Saucer 13cm diam, cup 8cm diam, blue crossed swords mark and numeral 9 to bases. (2)
