Circa 1770
Of conical shape, painted in kakiemon style with a version of 'The Two Quail' pattern, with two birds below a flowering prunus tree to one side, scattered flower sprigs and leaves to the other, the interior rims with a band of tightly packed iron-red scrolls and flowerheads, together with a Worcester coffee cup, in identical pattern. Beakers 5cm high, saucers 13cm diam, cup 6.5cm high, gold open crescent marks. (7)
