A small Japanese boxwood study of a monkey

Late 19th/early 20th Century
Carved seated, his right arm scratching his back, his left hand holds a large fungus, 7.5cm high, signed, together with a wood study of a cricket on a vegetable, the small insect sitting to one end of the finely carved tapering vegetable, possibly a corn, 16.5cm long, and a carved figure of Hotei, the bald, rotund figure with his sack over his left shoulder, 19cm high. (3)
