Meiji Period
Depicting three travellers or peasants in carved and stained ivory, a male seated on a bench smoking a pipe, another male standing with a basket and fabric parcel hanging over his shoulder, and a female with staff in her right hand, all on carved wooden base. 27cm wide, 22cm high.
