A Japanese cloisonné tea set

Meiji Period
Comprising a teapot, six teabowls and six saucers, the teapot of squared form with loop handle, the five-sided saucers shaped like prunus flowers, all gold wire decorated with branches of flowering prunus on a deep blue ground, in a tomobako, or wooden box. Teapot 13.5cm high, cups 3.5cm high, saucers 8cm. (13)
