A Japanese silver and gold inlaid cigarette box

Meiji Period
The hinged cover decorated in Komai style to the foreground with thatched buildings next to a torii gate, across a river a temple sits amongst trees, in the background, a snow-capped Mount Fuji looms over the horizon, fitted compartments to the interior. 19cm x 5cm, signed with seal to the base, inlaid silver cartouche reading 'R d'E' to the cover.
