A Japanese cloisonné teapot

Meiji Period
Of squat circular form with loop handle, gold-wire decorated with bands depicting some of the Treasures of the Shichi Fukujin, or Seven Lucky Gods, including the Inexhaustible Purse, the Invisible-Making Hat, the Lucky Coat, the Wealth Mallet, the Full Bag of Rice, the Magic Key and a number of coins, 15cm high, together with a small rectangular lidded box the green ground decorated with foliage and coloured flowerheads, 9cm long, and three further cloisonné items, including two vases and a jar with cover, vases 18.5cm and 19cm high, jar 12cm high (some damage).
