A miniature Japanese bronze and gilt okimono figure

Meiji Period
Cast as a temple servant holding a tray in his right hand, a key in his left, his robes decorated with maple leaves and a meandering stream-like motif, standing on a carved wooden stand. Overall height including stand 13cm, unsigned but attributed to Miyao of Yokohama.
