A Japanese porcelain bowl

Late 19th/early 20th Century
The circular bowl with slightly everted rim, decorated to the interior in underglaze blue and gilt with flying cranes, to the exterior with scrolling foliage in the Imari palette, 24.5cm diam, to the base Fuki Choshun mark of four characters for Wealth, Nobility, Longevity and Youth, together with a porcelain bottle vase decorated with Japanese cranes and sparrows amidst flowering prunus, 25cm high (neck repaired).
