Late 19th Century
After the model by M.V. Acier, seated crying on a chair to which his left arm and legs are tied, he holds a book in his right hand and a footstool and drum lie beneath the chair, he wears a pink jacket and pale blue trousers with striped sash and a hat with ribbon and feathers. 14cm high, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, incised model number F119, painter's numeral 62 (ropes on left arm and leg broken, some restoration to right arm, tip of left foot repainted).
