A tortoiseshell, ebony, ivory and gilt metal mounted Antwerp cabinet, 17th Century and later

The top section with central cupboard surrounded by ten small drawers all with central cabochon shaped panel pressed gilt border and ripple-moulded edge, enclosed by a pair of plain mahogany doors lined with ebony ripple moulded and tortoiseshell inlaid panels, above a rosewood ivory and ebony inlaid slide, the George III mahogany stand, with single long frieze drawer raised on four slender square section tapering supports, the cabinet re-cased with mahogany, probably, in the mid 18th Century and subsequently largely re-lined during the second half 20th Century, 84cm wide x 32cm deep x 139cm high, (33in wide x 12.5in deep x 54.5in high)
